Overview
Available starting October 1, 2025
We're introducing a new approval queue experience for permits designed to make it faster and easier to review applications and change requests (CRs). Instead of working in a limited side drawer, you’ll now see a full-screen decision experience that gives you more context and allows you to take action without leaving the page.
If you’ve used our SpotBlock product, the workflow will feel familiar.
What's New
When you open an application or change request, you'll see a full-screen page with:
- Editable fields: Defined by your permit settings
- Vehicle management: Edit vehicles inline (per your permit settings)
- Notes section: Add notes directly to the permit record without leaving the page
- Document upload: Drag and drop new documents to the record
You'll also find:
- Linked account information: For added context
- Additional permits: The most recent two years of data are displayed for quick reference
Decision Process
Rendering a decision with a note to the permit holder works the same as before.
The process is now more efficient:
- Previously, if you needed to edit fields or update vehicles, you had to leave the queue, find the permit record, make your updates, and then return to the approval queue
- Now, all of these actions can be completed inline on the decision page
This streamlined flow reduces back-and-forth and ensures you have everything you need in one place to make informed decisions quickly.
