How to Process Appeals (OpsMan Web)

Overview

The Appeals menu in OpsMan gives you increased control over the adjudication of parking citations. You can accept or decline an appeal or adjust the citation amount. Each action will be stored with the citation for future use and reporting. The Process Appeals tab returns a list of all citations that have been appealed through RMCPay, the appeal reason, the appeal date, and a description of the action. By clicking on an individual appeal you will be able to view the full citation detail and respond to the appeal.

Instructions

  1. In OpsMan, navigate to the Ticketing > Appeals > Process Appeals tab.
  2. Use the filters located on the left to filter for what you need.
  3. Click into the citation.
  4. Within the citation, you can view the details of the ticket in the Ticket Detail tab, or view the appeal details under the Appeal Response tab. From here, you can respond and accept/decline the appeal.
  5. You can also click into the Adjustment, Void, Suspend, or Remove Appeal tabs to take action.
  6. To process a manual appeal (in the case of a letter or email sent to your office requesting an appeal), navigate to the ticket through Manage Citations, then select Manual Appeal, fill in the appellant information, attach any evidence, and select Submit. This will funnel into the Process Appeal flow.
