Overview

Understanding your city’s previous performance and setting future goals help you track the performance of your operations. 

The Enforcement Goals lab enables you to: 

  • View data for key metrics for the previous fiscal year and the current fiscal year
  • Set your organization’s annual goals

Terminology

Goals

  • Total Number of Citations Issued
    • Enter the number of citations you aspire to issue by the end of this year.
  • Total Warnings Issued
    • Enter the number of warnings you aspire to issue by the end of this year.
  • Appeal Acceptance Rate
    • Enter your annual goal for the appeal acceptance rate.
  • Total Number of Collectable Citations
    • Enter the total number of citations you aspire to collect by the end of this year.
  • Collection Rate
    • Enter your annual goal for the collection rate.
  • Percentage of Citations Fully Paid Within 90 Days
    • Enter your annual goal for the percentage of citations paid within 90 days.
  • Average Number of Days to Paid
    • Enter your annual goal for the average number of days that a citation will be paid after issuance.
  • Percentage of Citations Payments Made Online (vs. In Person or Mail)
    • Enter the percentage of citation payments you aspire to receive online this year.

Where Do I Set Goals?

To set a goal, navigate to the Operator Settings page on Passport’s portal.

  • Settings > Operator Settings > Enforcement Goals
    • Or, select Edit Goals while viewing the Enforcement Goals Dashboard

Complete each field to enter your annual goal for each metric. 

  • Note: If you want the timeframe on the page to align with your fiscal year, enter the start date of your fiscal year. 
  • Note: You may decide which goals you wish to enter; you are not required to enter any goal.
  • Note: Do not use the "back" button on your browser after setting goals. Instead, select Labs, then select the Enforcement Goals lab

How Do I View My Goals?

After you set your goals, navigate to the Enforcement Goals Dashboard to view your goals.

  • Select Labs, then select the Enforcement Goals lab
