Overview

Passport’s enforcement app, OpsMan Mobile, pairs with Bluetooth printers to provide easy, on-the-go citation printing. All enforcement officers using OpsMan Mobile for issuing citations will need to follow this process in order to pair their printer to their individual Android device.

Instructions

  1. Press the power button. A green light on the bottom center of the face will indicate that the printer is on. When users log in to OpsMan Mobile for the first time, they will be prompted to pair a printer with their device.
  2. Select Change Printerunder the Paired Printer header.
    1. Note: If no printer has ever been paired, you may be automatically prompted to pair a printer
  3. A pop-up will appear reminding you to power on your printer. Select Next in the Add a Bluetooth Printer notification.
  4. Select the printer that will be used. Only the last four digits of the serial number will display.
    • Serial numbers are located on the back of Zebra printers and should look like this: S/N: XXXJ154501062. For help with other printer brands, please directly contact the manufacturer’s support team.
  5. A list of available printers will display with the serial number. Select the printer you wish to pair from the list. The app will inform you if the printer was synced to the smartphone.
    1.  If the printer does not display in the list, the printer may not be configured properly.
  6. If enforcement handheld is not being paired to a printer for the first time, select Printer. The printer option should read: Zebra (Serial #: 1062)(Not Connected). Select Pair Printer.
  7. In order to find the printer that’s already connected to the enforcement device, select the printer under Paired Printers. Select Locate Printer and the printer that is paired with the enforcement handheld will print "Hi."
