ADA Parking Feedback Report

Modified on Fri, 23 Feb 2024 at 04:13 PM

While cities are making significant progress toward providing accessible parking, the reality is that ADA spaces are often inadequately enforced and parkers don’t know who to contact when issues occur. When parkers do share feedback, they express concern that cities won’t actually act on their feedback. Additionally, since many people who use disabled placards don’t pay to park, cities struggle to capture feedback and session data effectively.

Passport’s ADA Parking Feedback Report helps cities to better understand the experience of ADA parkers. This report is made possible by a partnership between Passport and iAccess Life. By partnering with iAccess Life, Passport provides data and insights to cities regarding their ADA parking program.

The ADA Parking Feedback Report is available to any client with access to portal who subscribes to iAccess Life and is willing to place QR codes in their parking environment.

The operator places a QR code on signage located near handicap spaces. The QR code directs the parker to an ADA survey specific to their city. The link hosting the survey is associated with Passport zone and operator ID. Survey results are sent to Passport along with the zone and operator ID.

Report Metrics

The ADA Parking Feedback Report displays a variety of aggregated metrics to help you and your city understand the extent to which parkers participate in the survey. Based on those results, you will be able to monitor the performance of your city’s ADA spaces.

You have the option to look at all of your data, or you can filter by zone.

  • Average survey rating
  • Total number of surveys submitted
  • Completed surveys over time
  • Ratings by payment source
  • Top 5 zones by overall rating
  • Bottom 5 zones by overall rating

In addition, the report compiles respondents' open text feedback and their ratings for these questions:

  • How easy was it to locate an ADA space?
  • How convenient is the parking space to your destination?
  • How easy was it to access the sidewalk?
  • How satisfied are you with the amount of ADA parking in this area?
  • How easy was it to pay to park?
  • Open feedback (the respondent can type anything they would like)
